“ I ate a super satisfying dinner at Midland Pizzeria and Restaurant recently. Don't let the pizzeria in their name fool you. They provide full table service with several outdoor tables available. Our waiter, Patsy was personable and attenuative. There seems to be a lot of "regulars" and neighborhood folks coming and going. Don't let that stop you, as newcomers we felt very welcomed. We were going to order pizza but decided the menu looked too good and prices reasonable to pass up a nice Italian meal this night. Warm seeded Italian bread with butter pats arrived soon after ordering along my glass of house red wine. Entrees are served with salad, spaghetti, ziti or potato croquettes. I love a good Italian dressed salad with vinegar, oil and oregano. A few shakes of grated cheese from the table and I was :good to go". The large shrimp in the parmigiana were nicely breaded and fried along with a flavorful rich tomato sauce and what tasted like fresh mozzarella. I ate it all and would have licked the plate with more bread if I wasn't watching my weight. My husband had the cavatelli with broccoli rabe and hot sausage. Nice big pieces of hot sausage with in an olive oil sauce. He loved it but couldn't finish it all so took half home. Definitely check out this restaurant, its reputation as a good pizza and Italian restaurant is well deserved. ”
“ I grew up on Midland pizza and it's always managed to hit the spot as a local pizzeria joint, but they've really upped their quality the past several years to the point where I'd now choose them over Johnny's (I know, bold statement). Their sauce has a distinct taste, perfectly balanced and with a hint of sweetness. Highly recommend their pie with garlic and hot peppers- it's a family fave. They do not skimp out on toppings at all, and well worth the price point. ”
